It's a testament to the eclectic music scene in Austin, Texas, that Wyoming native Datri Bean's music draws heavily from jazz traditions.

Bean, a Seattle resident playing at The Grove on Saturday (see "If You Go"), grew up in Cheyenne with parents who didn't listen to much music.
