New shows contrast realism and abstraction

The Portland Art Museum explores the dichotomy between realism and abstraction with two new exhibits, opening in April: "Great Painters in Brescia from the Renaissance to the 18th Century" (April 29-Sept. 17) and "Hilda Morris" (April 15-July 16).
