A firefighter from Bend, Steven Burns, was seriously injured while battling a Texas wildfire Feb. 9. His neighbors, Steve and Dorothy Vaughan, have established a family fund at Mid Oregon Credit Union to help the Burns family cover medical expenses.
Burns, 43, sustained multiple serious injuries....
