Construction to close Steens Mountain bridges

Two Steens Mountain Loop Road bridges will be closed for construction the week of April 10-14. The work on the Blitzen River and East Canal bridges is necessary because of erosion and uneven settling, which has resulted in potholes and sunken grades, according to the U.S. Bureau of Land....
