Redmond now officially a 'Tree City USA' location

Residents will need a permit before planting, pruning or removing trees

REDMOND - Redmond is now a Tree City USA.

The city joined the ranks of 39 other cities in Oregon and 3,000 nationally that have earned the distinction, said Katie Lompa, community assistance forester with the Oregon Department of Forestry, who presented the honor to the Redmond City Council....
