After dominating the Junior Olympics, 16-year-old Tommy Ford of Bend is going to the U.S. Alpine Championships

A sequence of photos once adorned a wall at the Mount Bachelor Sports Education Foundation office in Bend.

The pictures showed a younger Tommy Ford, at maybe 11 or 12 years old, skiing his way down a race course in unrestrained, Bode Miller-like fashion.
