Bend-La Pine board approves magnet school

The Bend-La Pine School Board voted unanimously Tuesday evening to approve a technology-based magnet school on Bend's east side.

"We're really excited," Juniper Elementary School Principal Vicki Jenkins said. "We're ready to move forward."
