C.L. "Hoody" Hoodenpyle of Crescent died Saturday. He was 97.

No services will be held.

Mr. Hoodenpyle was born Dec. 4, 1908, in Fruita, Colo. He married Mary Hoodenpyle.

Mr. Hoodenpyle owned the Little Deschutes Sporting Goods Store in Crescent from 1967....
