More snow on the way

Heavy accumulation expected for the Cascades

More than 15 inches of snow is expected to blanket the Cascade Mountains from today through Thursday night, forecasters said.

Bend could pick up about 2 to 3 inches of snow within the same time period, said Jon Bonk, a forecaster with the National Weather Service in Pendleton.
