Residents envision Bend's future

Longtime Bend resident John Dotson, 60, said his stake in Bend's future is personal.

His daughter, a senior in high school, wants to return to Bend after college to raise a family, he said.

"She's convinced she wants to come back, but what will Bend be like?" he said. "I guess....
