Legislators add four to home rule committee

New group will write plan to restructure Deschutes County government

State lawmakers on Wednesday picked Redmond attorney Ed Fitch, retired Sisters resident Leonard Knott and engineers Jim Carnahan and Scott Waters to serve on the Deschutes County Home Rule Charter Committee.

The foursome will join four others previously tapped by Deschutes County commissioners....
