High Desert Museum celebrates Highland influence

Central Oregon first saw Scottish fur traders in 1830s

The High Desert Museum is taking its visitors to the 19th century today to meet kilt-wearing demonstrators and watch fur-trapping gear demonstrations, among other Scottish Highlander-influenced events.
