Justices reject M37 challenge

High court unanimously finds land rights law constitutional

SALEM - The voter-enacted law that promises to remake Oregon's rural landscape is back on the books.

The Oregon Supreme Court on Tuesday unanimously rejected a lower-court ruling that had invalidated Measure 37, the property-rights law that passed overwhelmingly in 2004.
