La Pine couple sues over implant

Defibrillator manufacturer Medtronic Inc. named in $4.75 million lawsuit

A La Pine man and his wife filed a $4.75 million lawsuit this month against a Bend cardiac surgeon, his employers and a pacemaker manufacturer, claiming a heart-rate regulation device was faulty and implanted without proper training.
