Inmate sues Deschutes sheriff, others

Dehart says he waited for help after falling from bunk bed in county jail

A Bend man has filed a $360,000 lawsuit against Deschutes County and the sheriff's office, alleging that deputies failed to provide adequate medical care for a head injury he suffered after falling from a top bunk bed.
