2002 gold medalist from Bend finishes sixth in Turin’s 15K pursuit

PRAGELATO, Italy " Beckie Scott said she was ready to defend her Olympic gold medal, and she stayed with the lead pack for nearly the entire race in the women's 15-kilometer cross-country ski pursuit on Sunday.

But in the end, Scott, who lives in Bend, could not overcome a speedy Estonian....
