For some, it was just the ticket they needed to secure a spot in the Junior Olympics.

The Sunnyside Pursuit citizens' race and Junior Olympic qualifier, held Saturday and Sunday at Mount Bachelor, saw a strong turnout of cross-country skiers aspiring to qualify for Junior Olympics competition....
