Dwight and Mary Jane (Kregel) Newton of Bend celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married Jan. 29, 1941, in Kansas City, Mo. They have two children, Jennifer Kirkpatrick of Scappoose and Janet Schutte of Bend; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
