New school scheduling plan debated

Critics, district clash over proposal to shrink Bend-La Pine class sizes

Labeled a solution to the class size crisis, the proposed Bend-La Pine high school schedule change comes with major problems of its own, critics say.

Curriculum could be slashed. Some AP courses might be at risk. And hundreds of students would be done with school by 1:35 p.m.
