Otis Winston Abernathy of Bend died Jan. 28. He was 54.

A celebration of life will be held later this month in Portland.

Mr. Abernathy was born Oct. 25, 1951, in Helen, Ga., to Otis and Eva Lee Abernathy. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Portland.
