Washington firm gets Bend-based GIS operation

Bend-based geographic information technology firm High Desert Geo-Technologies Inc. has been acquired by national geoscience firm GeoEngineers of Redmond, Wash.

Terms of the deal were not released. The acquisition took effect Wednesday.
