New snowfall adds to healthy snowpack

Wet year forecast: Snowpack is 144% of normal, wettest winter since 1999-2000

Roughly 3 to 5 inches of snow had blanketed the Bend area as of Tuesday evening, according a National Weather Service meteorologist, with reports of 10 to 12 inches of snow in Sunriver.

The snowfall boosted an already healthy snowpack in the region.
