Good weather draws 240 skiers through 'marathon' course

For the first time this season, skiers racing on a Saturday were treated to a dry, windless, and almost warm day, of Nordic bliss.

Patrick Weaver, 36, of Bend, who has also raced for the Olympic U.S. Ski Team, skated into first place at Saturday's Great Nordeen in a time of 1 hour, 36 minutes,....
