Staying in the field and stream

State sees decrease in numbers of hunters and anglers, but Central Oregon holds steady

While the numbers of hunters and anglers are declining statewide in Oregon, Central Oregon does not seem to be experiencing the same trend, according to local fish and wildlife officials.

Oregon's population has doubled in the past 50 years, but fewer people purchased hunting licenses in Oregon....
