Plans to purchase Marz fall through

A bid by the owners of The Blacksmith Restaurant to acquire a second downtown restaurant has fallen by the wayside.

The Blacksmith reported in November that it was in the process of buying Marz: A Planetary Bistro.

But Marz owners said Blacksmith proprietors Gavin McMichael and Burk Daggett did....
