Bend's Leslee Olson tops American placers at World Cup

KRONPLATZ, Italy - Leslee Olson of Bend placed 15th and was the top American woman in the FIS World Cup snowboardcross event on Saturday in Kronplatz, Italy.

The race was the final snowboardcross qualifier for the U.S. Olympic Snowboard team.

Though Olson never achieved a fourth-place or higher....
