Field damage runs deep

A month may pass before Summit knows repair bill

If a giant danced a jig on Summit High's athletic fields, the damage might look like it does now: The earth drooped and split open after torrential rain flooded Central Oregon nearly two weeks ago. Asphalt cracked and crumbled.
