Luis Rodriguez, an accomplished poet and author, will present "Hearts and Hands: Creating Community in Troubled Times" at 7 p.m. on Monday in the Tower Theatre in downtown Bend. This free event, commemorating Martin Luther King Jr. Day, is open to the public.
