Snowshoe races coming Saturday to Swampy Lakes

Strap on your snowshoes for the 2006 Snowshoe Shuffle, scheduled for this Saturday.

The 5- and 10-kilometer snowshoe races begin at 10 a.m. at Swampy Lakes Sno-park, located 16 miles southwest of Bend on Century Drive.

The event serves as a regional championship race and a national qualifier.....
