Smith finishes 28th at World Cup event

KREISCHBERG, Austria - Chris Klug placed 15th on Sunday at the FIS World Cup parallel giant slalom snowboarding event in Austria.

Klug, 33, a part-time Sisters resident, was the top American, and Adam Smith of Bend, who placed 28th, was the second-highest American.
