Jack Hilgert of Portland died Wednesday of natural causes. He was 81.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Mt. Scott Funeral Home in Portland.

Mr. Hilgert was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Baker. He married Helen Harrison in 1979.
