Bend's Olson captures sixth at World Cup

BAD GASTEIN, Austria - Leslee Olson of Bend placed sixth and was the top American in an FIS World Cup snowboardcross event on Wednesday.

Olson was just two spots away from a top-four finish that would have automatically qualified her for the U.S. Olympic snowboard team.
