Summit to hold 14U softball team tryouts

Central Oregon softball players can take part in tryouts on Jan. 8 and Jan. 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Summit High School for a new 14-and-under traveling team.

The team, to be called Central Oregon Wildfire 14U ASA Fastpitch, will compete in five to seven tournaments during the spring and summer....
