Parents' goal is to ease crowding problem, not to divide community

I am writing in response to Julia Lyon's article on the Summit Initiative to Reduce Class Size (SIRCS). In the article, some parents from other schools expressed misgivings. I hope to clarify our effort's intention and diminish potential for misunderstanding and divisiveness.
