Cold front drives away week's fog, stale air

Central Oregonians can breathe easier this weekend, since the heavy fog and stagnant air that pooled in the area shouldn't return anytime soon, a meteorologist said.

The cold front that swept through the region on Thanksgiving chased away the inversion in the atmosphere that trapped dense fog....
