Redmond thanks troops

Oregon guard unit's demobilization made official in ceremony

REDMOND - The members of Redmond-based G Troop, 82nd Cavalry, were officially demobilized on Sunday, in a brief but emotional ceremony at Redmond High School.

The troop served in Iraq for a year, and was deployed for 15 months in all.
