Saying "pretty please" isn't an interrogation technique likely to loosen the tongues of many terrorism suspects, we'll concede. But that doesn't justify the creation of a loophole in a Senate-approved ban on "cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment" of U.S. detainees.....
