Redmond sets aside money for downtown post

Manager would coordinate renewal

REDMOND - It's likely that by mid-February, this town will have a new leader in the charge to revitalize downtown.

The Urban Renewal Board, which is also the city council, voted Tuesday to contribute $50,000 per year for two years to help fund the position of a downtown manager.
