Florists donate flowers to breast health efforts

October is national Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Women going to Bend Memorial Clinic this month for mammograms are getting a little something extra.

The women will each receive a pink flower for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is October. The flowers, donated by area florists, are given out each weekday, 30 flowers a day, to women who....
