Marie Brownlee, of Bend, died of a brief illness. She was 83.

A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Oct. 25, at St. Francis Church, in Bend. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the church.

Mrs. Brownlee was born Aug. 24, 1922, in the German Hospital in Shanghai, China. She....
