BANDON - Mont Green of Bend placed eighth, best among four Central Oregon golfers taking part over the weekend in the Oregon Mid-Amateur Championship at Bandon Dunes.

Green shot rounds of 75 on Saturday and 73 on Sunday for a 36-hole total of 148, 5 over par. He was seven strokes behind champion....
