Hilda "Sugar" Paulina Backen of Bend died Oct. 4. She was 92.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Roseburg Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Roseburg.
