Hamby will be honored

Ray Hamby, an early Bend resident, will be honored with a plaque on Wednesday at J Bar J Ranch. He built the barn at the old Hamby Ranch, which is now the J Bar J Ranch.

Hamby, who came to Bend over 65 years ago, is traveling from his home in Maryland for the event. It will also mark his 83rd....
