Young runners compete at Drake Park

Cheeks red from the morning chill, a cluster of pint-sized runners charged across the footbridge at Drake Park on Sunday morning at the start of the one-mile Kid's Fun Run that was part of the Bend Marathon races.

The children - about 10 of them - huffed and puffed, disappearing into the trickle....
