FEMA review next step after Deschutes commissioners' action

With its fire-prone forests, a major river and sleeping volcanoes, odds are good that a natural disaster will eventually strike fast-growing Deschutes County.

County commissioners on Monday approved a plan that could help reduce the impact of disasters.
