Early school release begins

Teachers laud change; parents' views mixed

The school day will end early this Wednesday at most Bend-La Pine elementary and middle schools as they kick off the district's new early-release schedule.

Bend-area elementary schools will get out 90 minutes early. Middle schools will get out 100 minutes early. Three Rivers School will also....
