Local law enforcement agencies are replacing faulty bullet-resistant vests

Information released by the U.S. Department of Justice on Monday confirms that bullet-resistant vests worn by Deschutes County Sheriff's deputies and Bend police do not comply with federal safety standards and may not provide adequate protection.
