Jury: Phillips guilty of attempted murder

A Bend man was convicted of attempted murder Friday for shooting another man in the chest after an argument between the two in February.

A 12-member jury also found 25-year-old Nicholas Jason Phillips guilty of assault, unlawful use of a weapon and felon in possession of a firearm in connection....
