Transplant recipient Matt Kamasz returns to Bend, hikes up Pilot Butte

Matt Kamasz hadn't been at his Bend home for more than 10 minutes Thursday evening when he announced his plans to hike Pilot Butte the next day.

His wife, Sarah, looked slightly concerned.
