Parking area to close temporarily

The newly created parking area providing river access from Columbia Street will be closed today until Saturday, according to a release from the Bend Metro Park and Recreation District.

The lot will be closed to allow logs and equipment to be moved in preparation for the Log Jam event Saturday.....
